چکیده
Switched reluctance machines (SRMs) have received increasing attention for their many potential uses, such as wind power and electric vehicle (EV) drive systems. The Quasi-Z-source Integrated Multiport Converter (QZIMPC) was recently introduced to improve the reliability of SRM driver through small capacitance values. It is not possible, however, simultaneously energize deenergize two phases in QZIMPC. This phenomenon can significantly increase commutation period which, turn, degrades performance SRM; addition, this causes high-voltage ripples on converter’s capacitors. Two switching algorithms are applied paper, with investigated terms torque ripple peak phase current. based prioritizing control command on-going off-going fulfill required load torque, well accelerate process where possible. achieved without interference high-level controllers, which include speed controllers and/or minimization. Through simulation results, a comparison between presented determine system’s performance.

Abstract – A novel passive boost power converter forsingle-phaseswitched reluctance motor is presented. A simple passive circuit is proposed comprisingthree diodes and one capacitor. The passive circuitis added in the front-end of a conventional asymmetric converter to obtain high negative bias. Based on this passive network, the terminal voltage of the converter side is a general DC-link volta...

A new zero-current-transition (ZCT) converter for switched reluctance motor drives is presented. The proposed ZCT converter possesses the definite advantages that both the main and auxiliary switches are operating with zero-current switching (ZCS), as well as minimum current and voltage stresses. It has simple circuit topology, minimum component count and low cost. The ZCT technique can signifi...
